Utility-Sensitive Land Clearing & Tree Removal | Vidor, TX
Project type
Utility-Sensitive Land Clearing & Tree Remova
Location
Vidor, TX
Nearly 1,000 linear feet of mature tree line bordered this residential property in Vidor, Texas along a public roadway and adjoining property line. The homeowner contracted Asher Construction to completely remove the tree line while navigating a significant underground utility constraint.
811 utility markings identified a 2-inch polyethylene gas line running in close proximity to the work area. Before heavy excavation proceeded near the utility, our crew used careful hand excavation and verification points to positively identify and monitor the line's location.
Tree removal and stump excavation were then performed methodically around the identified utility corridor while maintaining tight control of equipment and excavation activities.
This project demonstrates the importance of planning and situational awareness when performing land clearing, tree removal, stump excavation, utility-sensitive excavation, clearing and grubbing, and residential site preparation in constrained environments.
