Asher Construction is an excavation, earthwork, and site development contractor serving Southeast Texas and the Greater Houston area. We provide commercial and residential sitework including land clearing, mass excavation, grading, drainage, building pads, pond construction, access roads, demolition, and complete site preparation.

But moving dirt is only part of what we do.

Our approach begins with understanding the site, the plans, the soil, the elevations, and what the finished property needs to accomplish. With an engineering background behind our operations and experienced people in the field, we bring a level of planning and precision to earthwork that goes beyond simply putting equipment on a jobsite.

Asher Construction was founded by Alan Asher, a mechanical engineer turned contractor and heavy equipment operator.

Years spent working as an engineer developed an appreciation for planning, problem solving, specifications, tolerances, and understanding why something is designed the way it is. Eventually, that mindset found its way into the dirt.

Today, we combine engineering principles with practical field experience to approach projects from both sides: understanding what the plans require and knowing what it takes to actually build them.

That means studying elevations before grading, understanding drainage before moving material, thinking about soil conditions before building a pad, and looking several steps ahead before the first bucket hits the ground.
