Land Clearing, Driveway & Engineered House Pad Construction

Previously logged properties can hide significant problems below the surface. This residential homesite contained buried stumps, deep logging equipment ruts, sinkholes, standing water, and pockets of unsuitable organic material that had accumulated for years.

Asher Construction selectively cleared only the areas necessary for the driveway and future home, preserving as many existing trees as practical. During excavation, unsuitable soils, buried woody material, and saturated pockets were identified, undercut, removed, and replaced with suitable fill.

Engineered fill material was then imported to construct the driveway foundation and elevated house pad.

The narrow, minimal-impact driveway alignment required careful equipment operation around closely spaced trees while maintaining the geometry and foundation needed for reliable access.

This project combined residential land clearing, unsuitable soil removal, house pad construction, driveway construction, engineered fill placement, excavation, grading, and compaction to transform previously logged land into a construction-ready homesite.
