After another contractor completed the initial clearing of this Sour Lake, Texas homesite, the owner brought in Asher Construction to ensure the property was properly graded and drained before construction of the new home began.

Our team collected field elevation data and developed a comprehensive site drainage and grading plan along with the proposed house pad design. Multiple soil materials were imported and strategically placed for mass grading, driveway foundation construction, and the elevated building pad.

The approximately two-acre property was precision graded to establish positive drainage before the house pad and driveway foundation received final grading and compaction.

A significant portion of the site contained mature pine trees the homeowner wanted to retain, requiring our operators to carefully establish designed grades around existing trees while maintaining drainage performance and minimizing unnecessary disturbance.
